Anthus spinoletta
21 May Pitmegea Pcirin - one was seen
on the high mud peaks on the
coast a mile north of camp and
three were seen on the ridge
on the right limit of the river
above camp.
23 May Pitmegea - seen again on the
long ridge above Camp on the
right limit.
24 May Pitmegea - one seen in the same
place as above.
31 May Pitmegea Peters - Schrader - common
all about the lower slopes and on
the ferns - even on the steep walls of
walls. Coenotship - flights - very-
flights and chases were seen and
the west side across from camp. The
flight song is very distinct twice. Seems
to be about as common as long spur -
more conspicuous in display than
long spur.
1 June Peters - Schrader Lakes - seen in
all areas visited.
2 June Peters - Schrader Lakes - commonest bird
seen on the slopes and walls of Whistler
Canyon valley. Perhaps 1 pair per acre.
