Cade 1959 Anthus spinoletta 21 May Pitmegea Pcirin - one was seen on the high mud peaks on the coast a mile north of camp and three were seen on the ridge on the right limit of the river above camp. 23 May Pitmegea - seen again on the long ridge above Camp on the right limit. 24 May Pitmegea - one seen in the same place as above. 31 May Pitmegea Peters - Schrader - common all about the lower slopes and on the ferns - even on the steep walls of walls. Coenotship - flights - very- flights and chases were seen and the west side across from camp. The flight song is very distinct twice. Seems to be about as common as long spur - more conspicuous in display than long spur. 1 June Peters - Schrader Lakes - seen in all areas visited. 2 June Peters - Schrader Lakes - commonest bird seen on the slopes and walls of Whistler Canyon valley. Perhaps 1 pair per acre.
