seen around camp or at mouth
of river several times each
day.
24 May Pitmgea - heard over camp in
the early morning.
27 May Pitmgea - one seen flying along
the coast ca 1 mi below the mouth
of the river.
1 June Peters - Schwader Lakes - One
seen flying over MacLaughlin's
cabin and one seen soaring at the
NW corner of Peters - near some
high cliffs.
June Peters - Schwader Lakes - one was
heard high up on the cliffs on
the east side of Whistler beyond
the limits of the Rices - high willows;
4 June Peters - Schwader - one seen flying
between the lakes.
5 June Peters - Schwader - one seen over
camp. Appeared interested in some of
my drying skeletons.
11 June Peters - Schwader - two flew over north
end of Peters from some rocks high up
on the east wall of valley.
12 June Peters - Schwader - one seen flying up
Whistler Creek.
