1. Cole 1957 Cornus array 19 June, Unweit - flock of 8 seen between the dump and the river. 21 June, Unweit - two flew overhead calling - in the area of TG - T7. 25 June - Unweit - A milling flock of 24 birds - all in heavy wing molt - was seen flying around the airstrip about 1000 feet high in the afternoon between 1400 and 1700. They finally flew north across the river. They were gambolling and frequently diving at one another. 30 June Unweit - a pair with 3 fledged young was seen on Unweit Mt. The nest was not located, but one of the young was very reluctant to leave the cliff and let us approach within 5 feet before it would fly. 1 July , Colville River - nests that had obviously been used this year - clapping all year- were seen at New York Cliff and the Double Knife Ridge Bluff. 16 July Point Lay Some feathers were found around the old windew cooral near the lake back of the site. 4 August Yogo Lake.
