24 May Pitmegea River - one or possibly two seen on the gyrfalcon cliff. Fewer times a phoebe was seen to fly up to our net from crevices on the face of the cliff from a sector a few yards downstream from the falcons' nesting ledge.
2 June Peters - Schwader Lakes - One was seen on the west side of Peters Inugh up on well of welly - north of shrubs next - others heard. Weather was seen a little further north. In Whistler Creek phoebes were fairly common. I shot one on the stream bed and saw us heard about a dozen more mostly high up on the steep walls or at the upper reaches of the alluvial fans.
June Peters - Schwader Lakes - about 4-5 seen along Wheat "Bulbs" Creek and a pair was seen at the falcon bluffs 6 mi down the creek. They were very quiet in and only events on the bluff and appeared to be getting ready to nest.
6 June Peters - Schwader Lakes - One was heard singing "phoebe" high up on the shale wall below Phoebe
