Code 1959 Myotis scandiaca 20-22 May - cont were not certainly associated as a pair. No breeding dispute, no display were seen. All owl mounds in the area have fresh (late winter spring) pellets around them - full of microtines. By the area under consideration they appear to be 4 males and 2 females. 3 May Pitmegea - no squirrels seen in any quarter where the horse been observed for the past three days. 4 May Pitmegea - none seen again today. 5 May Pitmegea - Maher reported seeing 3 male sawyer owls widely spread along the coastal sector of the tundra between the two ridges on the study area. 7 May Pitmegea - an adult seen along the coastal tundra about a mile below the river.
