Stercorarius parvus
21 May Pitmegea - a pair, both
members of which were melanistic
were seen flying in the vicinity
of camp in the late afternoon.
One was later seen perched on
the tinglea growth of the river
for a brief time.
23 May Pitmegea - a block level was
seen back of camp in the morning,
and I shot a block level view
camp along the river in the evening;
28 May Pitmegea - a pair - one dark and one
light, was seen on the creek about
a mile above camp - in the late
evening.
31 May Pitmegea Peters - Schwader - Bobby
reports seeing a mixed pair (same
as last year) between the two lakes.
They seem to be settling in the area
again.
18/15 - two light-phased levels
passed the camp over the lake -
hipped to the west side.
1 June Peters - Schwader Lakes - one was
seen perched on a greenel bow
between the two lakes and 3 were
seen flying NE over a lateral
movement on the west side of Schwader.
