1. Coele 1959 Stercorarius parvus 21 May Pitmegea - a pair, both members of which were melanistic were seen flying in the vicinity of camp in the late afternoon. One was later seen perched on the tinglea growth of the river for a brief time. 23 May Pitmegea - a block level was seen back of camp in the morning, and I shot a block level view camp along the river in the evening; 28 May Pitmegea - a pair - one dark and one light, was seen on the creek about a mile above camp - in the late evening. 31 May Pitmegea Peters - Schwader - Bobby reports seeing a mixed pair (same as last year) between the two lakes. They seem to be settling in the area again. 18/15 - two light-phased levels passed the camp over the lake - hipped to the west side. 1 June Peters - Schwader Lakes - one was seen perched on a greenel bow between the two lakes and 3 were seen flying NE over a lateral movement on the west side of Schwader.
