Cocelle gullinogo 3 Moy Pitmegea River - one heard winnowing or over the low andwa across the river from camp. 7 Moy Pitmegea - again heard winnowing over camp in the early morning. June Peters-Schroder L. - on upper "Butes" week, a quipe was heard winnowing several times on two different occasions about 15 minutes apart. Bird could not be seen. 8 June Peters-Schroder L. - beginning about 1900, winnowing was heard and quipes were seen in flight over the flats between the lakes. At least two and possibly 3 quipes were winnowing. Did the call note of the? ? was heard in two different clusters of the meadows. 2 June Peters-Schroder - two seen on heard winnowing over the flats between the two lakes. 1 June Uniat - nest 4 eggs - in wet ridge (Carex E. augustifolii) drain - depression on moss measured with cenopy of ridges 4-8" high - by an alder - birch stand 2-3 ft high. 2 June Uniat - one heard winnowing over upper terrace.
