counting pair seen over camp
on each day.
22 May Pitmegea - heard flying over
camp.
23 May Pitmegea - 3 pairs seen on
the timble northeast of the
river.
25 May Pitmegea - only one pair seen
today - remeberd down?
26 May Pitmegea - two pairs seen in
wet timble across the river from
camp.
27 May Pitmegea - 4 or 5 pairs seen in the
wet tingle near the coast and
just below (toward Listirne)
the lagoon section at the mouth of
the river. Courtship in full sway.
9 May Cape Beaufort - several seen in
the concentration of birds at the devil's
cite
June Unial - two seen (one collected)
around, pond along alligator wood
on the upper terrace.
