Code 1959 Evolia alpina 25 May Pitmgea River - single birds seen at two widely spaced locales on the uplands back of camp. 7 May Pitmgea - pair seen on upland timbera back of camp. 8 May Pitmgea - pair seen foraging on the weed flats near mouth of river in the early evening. 1 May Cafe Beecraft - most abundant bird in the thlang at the decline site. About a hundred were seen between airstrip and the site.
