Cocke 1958 Evolia melanotos 13 July - flushed by the weasel near T3 on the upper terrace in a wet ridge-goes marsh and peat bog area. One of the dorories was caught by hand. The primaries were 40-50 mm and the tail 15mm. Back was feathered out. 17 July Chirp-weak-flying young are common now all over the second river terrace. September Meade River - Coalmine - one adult ? seen on turrack heath thistle just S. of the large lake 1 mi NW of village.
