Lilleland 1933 41 Eutamias m. pictus Toquima Range, 1 mi E Jefferson 7600 ft., Nye Co., Nev. July 3. Shot two in Sawmill Canyon about 1 1/2 mi, above camp. Large boulders and rock slides characterized this part of canyon. Elevation about 8000 feet. July 5 Shot a female on ridge about 1 3/4 mi Ex 5 of camp. Interesting that on this same ridge I shot both Eutamias dorsalis and a Callospermophilus, July 13. Monitor Range, Greenmonster Canyon, 1500 feet, Nye Co., Nev. Caught a ♀ in a trap set in water. Course for shrew. This was in upper end of meadow (Indian's cow pasture) July 14. Caught three along stream and on banks. One was badly eaten by ants. Two were taken in mouse traps - one in a Rat trap.
