Lake #1 Camp Site Stream July 28 Took 16 Peromyscus maniculatus in morning. Rain has sprung many of traps so I reset many of them. In afternoon I found one Eutamias m. pictus and four more Peromyscus maniculatus. In late afternoon I set out 55 traps up over the side of the wash or mountainside as indicated in map. Came right over the Ridge and down to camp Estimate elevation on top of Ridge at 7000 ft. Campsite is 6700 ft. Ephedra, junipers pionion and mountain mahogany grow clear to the top of this Ridge. Rock ledges characterize the Ridge. Saw signs of 37
