Itinerary.
Left BERKELEY 9<sup>15</sup> am. June 27, in company
with John R Arnold, Wm. B. Davis, Stephen D.
DURRANT, Francis C. Gale Jr., Frank W Gorham
E Raymond Hall, Ward C. Russell and Paul T.
Wilson.
We travelled in two trucks and a
Roadster, via Carquinez Bridge, Davis,
Sacramento, Roseville, Auburn, Truckee and
Reno Nev; made overnight camp along main
highway, 8 miles E of Reno. Left camp
along main highway at 5<sup>20</sup> am. and drove
by Fallon, E Gate Austin, Milletts and Round
Mountain to a point in Jefferson Canyon 1 mi.
E Jefferson (abandoned) 7600 ft. Elevation, in
the Toquima Range, Nye Co., Nev., where we
pitched camp at 6<sup>30</sup> p.m. Assisted in
pitching tent and helped with other details
in making camp. Hall, Gorham and
