Lilleland 1933 52 Peromyscus maniculatus July 8 Monitor Valley, 8 1/2 mi E Toquima Peak, 7100ft, Nye Co., Nev. 16 specimens taken. Hilly country - Pinion and juniper trees. July 12 Monitor Range, Greenmonster Canyon, 7500 ft, Nye Co., Nev. 3 specimens taken on hillside N of camp July 13 Traps set in Greenmonster Canyon Creek along stream and on banks yielded eleven specimens. Several were young, and 5 were young ♂, 5 adult ♂ and one adult ♀. July 21 Took six along rocks at Hot Creek Valley, 4 mi N Hot Creek, 6400 ft, Nye Co., Nev. Took six specimens along creek and on banks. These seemed to have unusually large ears. Good growth of grass, and scattered beds of so called 'blazing stars' and Penstemons (blue) characterize stream.. Willows and Cotton woods are frequent. July 22 N End Rawille Valley, Old Hill, 6200 ft, Nye Co., Nev. Two species. Loose soil - covered with Artemesia and Atriplex. Here for first time in my brief trapping experience 'maniculatus' was outnumbered by Torognathus parvus and formosus.
