On Smiths Ridge between Hospital Creek & Lone Tree Crk, at Sect. 22 on Lone Creek 7.5 mi. Quail (1971). They were in a large colony at 1200 ft elevation near top of a rolling grass hill interspersed with juniper + cotton oak. It bordered a topo map with the location marked. I showed all 3 that pm.
