Nov, 19 Gary A. Beaman brought in 3
live D: jechons hernanni that he had caught
(moder persit) on Nov. 14 (777 Morse Rd, Lafayette,
Ca.). The data he provided are as follows.
Approx. 12 mi. SW Tracy, San Joaquin Co.
On Smiths Ridge between Hospital Creek & Lone
Tree Crk, at Sect. 22 on Lone Creek 7.5 mi.
Quail (1971). They were in a large colony at 1200 ft
elevation near top of a rolling grass hill interspersed
with juniper + cotton oak. It bordered a topo map
with the location marked. I showed all 3 that
pm. (wzL# 4114, 4115, 4116).
