I autopsied the M:cutas . 29 g, 8, faster let desc, and section pigment. tost. 6 x 3 1/2 mm, et not vis-ble; s.v. 5 mm. Oct 27 Monterey Bay Visited Near Bright Star Bank ~14:00 - 14:30 (clear) West Grde - 1 out (of ~15t now see well enough to distinguish Wth Chels brds, + all were West.) Eared bula - 4 Con. Luan - 1 Pacific Luan - 3 mudlet, loms - 10+ [krying way out] Brown Pelica - 45+ mudled, camacots - 30+ Wht Gull - 50+ Rin, Ad. Gull - 20+ Hermann's Gull - 5+ Wilred - 2 BHC, lad, Plver - 2 Marble Godwit - 1 Also saw 1+ sea lions. Nov, 19 Gary A. Beaman brought in 3 live D: jechons hernanni that he had caught (moder persit) on Nov. 14 (777 Morse Rd, Lafayette, Ca.). The data he provided are as follows. Approx. 12 mi. SW Tracy, San Joaquin Co. On Smiths Ridge between Hospital Creek & Lone Tree Crk, at Sect. 22 on Lone Creek 7.5 mi. Quail (1971). They were in a large colony at 1200 ft elevation near top of a rolling grass hill interspersed with juniper + cotton oak. It bordered a topo map with the location marked. I showed all 3 that pm. (wzL# 4114, 4115, 4116).
