Gull - 5+ Anne's Hummingbird - 1 singing Bush Tit - 1 E. Starling - 40+ Golden-cr Sparrow - 10+ Red-winged Blackbird - 6 Horn Finch - 25+ (280 and a large orange one on lawn fence with the sound end) n = 24 Sunol Regional Wilderness & Bay Farm Island, Alameda Co. April 13 At Sunol Pk. with L. Jr 18/04 field trip at 07:50. Left Pk. ~12:40 + drove to Calaveras Reservoir & then back to Union City where we had lunch with Russ & Kim DeLonger. Left there at 16:00 + took Drayton Rd. to Bay Farm Island (N. side of Oakland Airport (16:30 - 18:35), extended out to W. then drove & the very windy day Shoreline Pk. (N. edge before returning home. Clear day, cool but not quite warm by mid-day indeed. Cool a bit, windy on commute. SP (= Sunol Pk.), BI = Bay Farm Island, + UC = Union City, Mammals: raccoon tracks (SP), bobcat tracks (SP), coyote scat (SP), javelina paw scat (SP), skunk tracks (sound seen); Calif ground squirrel - common at SP + track & seen along drive, also seen at BI,
