LIDICKEN 1584 March 24 cont. were dominated by Scopophilus coliformis, While they were doing this I put out 30 museum specids along the Wedge of N. Pt. - from just below water mark to small rock outcrop along trail to top. This gave a total of 180 longtails + 30 mg. tops total. M: cuths signs are moderately abundant - averaging less than 100 vols/can although i found more than one can. Found foot as track about 1745. Saw 1 Carter's Goose on top of L: Belle Bunk that could have been a cross. Found say the goose hunting has been a failure in the last 3 years because of harassed by guides or kayakers. March 25 Very good hunt again at 0900. Weather: clear & warm, very little wind. Sny-drft lines - 4 adults, 1 mg. ad. + 4 juv.s. The adults are wt #s 3885, 3886, 3887 and 3888. The others are as follows: mg. ad - δ 32.5 g, fst ± 7½ x (11) S.V. 5cm. juv.s. - ♀ 21 g. (ovis active, ut. horns sl. enlarged) ♂ 23.5 g. ♀ 17.5 g. δ 12 g. On top N island: Very - 4 ad, juv. - 1♀, 1♂, 1 ? (juv. released). wt-c- driff (all taken within ~1/2 hr.) and other): 1 ad. ♀, 2 juv. ♀♀, + 1 mg. ad. ♂ (ad. + 1 juv. killed).
