LIDICKER 1996 july 26 cont. To the airport, crossed my new top I just found the small lake on the coast (Prestrannet). Walked around the lake starting in the SE corner and then back down the hill to town or our hotel. Prestrannet should be made into a nature reserve, it is a beautiful spot with sandbars in water but there is a good pedestrian & bicycle path on the W & S sides & small paths elsewhere. Since it was a beautiful day (we actually took off our jackets for hours) then were quite a few people on 2 sides of the lake. july 27 Took city bus (no. 27) to airport - after checking in walked across to where we could see the fjord to the West. Left at 7:30 for Ålesund. Stopped briefly in Bødg. Ålesund has stopped so we landed instead in Bergen at ~ 10:05. We were able to re-book on an SAS flight to Oslo leaving at 11:30. Arr. Oslo ~ 12:30.
