Had breakfast at train station. The train 1/2 hr. walk and town. At 08:20 get train to Bodø. Train followed E. side of Tromheimfjord to Stærkjer, then to Grong. By Snåsa at E end of Snåsavatnet we started early again on the K11dgrs. Followed Namdalen. By Namsskozen there was much snow even on h:lls, at last by Majavatn where is ~ 350 m. elevation. Then followed Vefsna R. to Mosjøen (ar. 14:20). Left Mo I Rana at 16:05 and followed Ran Elva (R.) through Dunderlandsdalen climbing rapidly to divider at Stødi where is shortly after crossing Arctic Circle at 17:10 and h. at ~ 700m. Drifted down Nanga Lomsdalen to Saltfjorden at Saldtset (actually Skjærstad Fjord in its upper part). To Røanake area with Bodøys (and a trainline) arriving 19:25. We were met by Louis's 2nd cousin (trumeninger) Torry Angell. She drove us to her home and the walk in wetland and town (cold + blustery). July 23 - Had good walk with sand town. After dinner
