Birds: Common Gull - 2 Mallard - 5 or (ecliptics + young) Golden plover - 6+ (7 plungers only) Common Sandpiper - 2 Warbling Gull - 1 Lesser Billed - Black Gull - 2 (1 old, & 1 yrg.) Bike-headed Gull - 35± (brown heads on all, + some very brown) Common Gull - 6+ White Pigeon - 3+ Swift - 15± Swallow - 1 Spotted Flycatcher - 2 Maggot - 8+ Jay? - 1 heard only Fieldfare - 1 Blackbird - 2 Yellowhammer - 1 Chiffchaff - 6± Whinchat - 6+ N = 19 Swedish trip July 16 – train to Stockholm, lv. Oslo 15:50. Bo Petersson was on the train; we greeted him when we were in the station in Stockholm and took the train with him to Uppsala (18:03 - 18:53). Lennart Hansson met us, & Bo invited us to dinner. First we went out to Swedish Agric. Univ. i Ultuna where he led us around & showed Lennart's Inst. of Wildlife Ecology. Then he drove us back to train (~20:0) when we had dinner with Petersson, & the train a 22:35 hrs back to Ultuna, arr. ~ 23:0. July 17 – 09:0 - left w/ Lennart for Grimsö. Went to Enköpings → Västerås → Syrehammar →
