Lodzko 1990 my kids rated were: Rook-Lots, Meggin -1, Zordev -2+, Ward Rigam-1. June 24 Went sight-seeing around Krakow, esp to Wawel Castle, with Jan's daughter Anna (19 yrs old). Worked at Univ. w/ Jan, a dinner at Tomnicki's wth Jan also. June 25 Visited at University all day exc for lunch break at the Pod Kopcem Hotel which is located in an old fortress on an artificial hill dedicated to Thaddeus Kosciuszko. Lunch was a honor of Michal D. Sikorski who had just successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on: 'fowl & gardening = Christianity, glamorous'. Besides me & Sikorski et lunch there was his wife, Jan K., & J. Glijing (who was in Krakow as a member of the thesis comm.) . Also talked to Bogustaw Bobek & Joanna Weiner (who has Grodzinski's old office). Worked later with Jan. June 26 Discussions at Univ. in AM mainly wth Jan (+ Adam) (= Jun 25) K., & Jan, Jan took me to Ojców Natl. PK north of Krakow when Adam had taken me in 1971. It rained but we managed to avoid getting soaked by staying in the forest. Lots of Helix pamotica (Roman Smail) active. June 27 Discussions in AM at Univ mainly wth Kostowski.
