June 12
Met Henry & Ole Gunnar Stølen (from Agri. Univ.) late a time to work on photographing a fence around enclosures to keep out predators + dogs. Also met the Director of the Station.
About 10:00 Henry took us out with the goats on the mountain to the east. After a drive of a few km., we parked & hiked up to the top of the end. Took some photos of the enclosures for later. Lots of Alces signs on the end, a good scat of female Martes which contained at least 1 vole skull.
Henry divided out signs of Myofagus to us in the forest so we hiked down. Returned 12:30. After lunch drove & walked round Station some more until 15:15 Henry drove us the short distance to the farm station. Walked down a drain at 15:50, Dr. Eilversen 16:45 & Oslo 19:0.
Got home 19:45.
