LIDICKER 1990 June 8 am Mallard - 25 + Corn. Gull - 2 Wood Pigeon - 1 White Wagtail - 5 + Hooded Crow - 10 + Robin - 1 Fieldfare - 15 + Grouse - 8 + Golden-eyes - 1 ?, 2 ? (B)k. Ld. Gull - 40 + Sanderling - 1 Merganser - 1 Willow Warbler, 2 + Blackbird - 2 + Chaffinch - 12 + n = 16 Ostensen og venner Ostø June 10 10:45 - 14:45 Weather: warm & sunny, sp. to wind blows. Walked around N end of lake, along east side or then continued S. to Stiklestad. Then we got the no.71 bus to Jernbane forset ; but lunch there a returned home that 16:30. Birds seen: Gt. Crested Grebe - 8 + 3 egg, w/1 pr. Watched the egg "quitting" th 2nd. ed. second time, this was about the egg, were too as close to-; egg masked found adult or it appeared + they all touched bills. Canada Goose - 200 + + 3 hybrids seen & photographed before (May 20); there was also a 4th bird the second hybrid but was closer in appearance to a Canada G. goose, Then 4 stayed together say. The first 3 + all were in a large swimming group of Canada Goose. Greyling Goose - 100+ including 1 brood of 3 ½" grey eggs; these are first egg of this species we have seen here. Mallard - 50 + including quite a few broods. Euras. Teal - 1 ? (in course to S.N field; good cover: wild) Tufted Duck - 30 + incl, 1 pr brood of 4 diving egg- already
