Lodick 1990 May 20 cont. suggestion of the Canada's edin song, Laps was pink. Took a photo of them 3. They were nesting together & getting to grow together. Mallard - 40+ plus quite a few hawks for 1 day to what is eye. Tropical Duck - 20+. We saw 1 bank of ducklings, 1-2 was old but did in parents in mid-late; they were in shelter with a feeling against vegetation but were too long quite expect & prolonged diving. Coot - 1 Moorhen - 8+ Black-headed Gull - 250+ many on nests but no egg seen yet. Rock Dove - 30+ Wart Pigeon - 6+ Swallow - 15+ White Wagtail - 10+ Starling - 10+ Maggie - 5+ Hooded Crow - 12+ * Reed Warbler - 3 * Icterine Warbler - 1 Whinchat - 2 Robin - 2+ Blackbird - 8+ Red-wing - 1 (land song) Fieldfare - 100+ (many carrying food) Blue Tit - 10+ Great Tit - 12+ House Sparrow - 2 Tree Sparrow - 3 (2 on high red stump) Chaffinch - 25+ Greenfinch - 12+ Red Bunting - 8+ nice 14 carrying food x = 29 Switzerland & West Germany Trip 24 May to 3 June May 24 Took 07:35 down from Oslo S. to Hamburg. Seen from train while in Norge: Starling, Black-headed Gull, Blue Tit Common Gull Mallard Jackdaw Magpie Blackbird House Sparrow Canada Crow - 1 Rock Dove Hooded Crow Grey Heron - 2 Lapwing - 3
