Sept. 9 - Group in my car was An-fang Yang (Peking University), Alicia York, Naomi Walker, and Josef Lindholm. Set 30 mins. S.E. with Yang + 2 guys into the K:ln meadow area @ W of the Station: 6 trap set for water shrews 11 in willows + some near creek, 5 in meadow for Microtus + 8 in rocks, sage, and forest edge situation. The m and 5 Tow-line live traps in good cover for Marmota cinerea. D. had not set any field station caught 3 diggers + 1 front. Ran trap check 2200. Sept. 10 - Was colder freezing during the night.
