Went to dinner at Alexander Nevskii Restaurant across from market Square. April 11 Visited Market Sqare. Henderson picked me up at 10:30 drove west to Finnish Forest Res. Inst. in Vantaa. Visited (Dep of Forest Production) the Section of Forest Ecology - which Haikki is one of 5 dedicated level staff. We also talked to Sect Chief Annila, Erkki (Pent.). He has worked with Don Dahissten at UCB. Had dinner ~17:30 + left ~14:15 for the Univ. of Helsinki; Zoological Dept. I gave seminar at 15:15. Went for beer afterwards & then to Haikki's home for dinner in Espoo. To be q Helsinki. Henderson's 2 kids are Eline (10 yrs old) Pentti & Pentti (5). Took bus home 11-19:30 Wife: Hilka. Pankakosti (eco-morphology & muskkrats & shrews & fur trap coll.
