L1 DICKER 1990 March 7 Jerry + I went to Ellenor Bay study area 09:20 to 12:20. Weather: cold, windy, mostly overcast. Assessed vegetation at traps: 2's in E & N sections. At the upper sides under water, we measured both left + right to assess vegetation as it was before inundation. We did the same before + after estimations for sides damaged by jeep. Autosiped 5 Blarina brevicauda records from Joe Packman which he picked up from the R-04 following system in & at all traps = 2's separate locations at Works Bay. This Bay is a smaller, current bay Curtain Bay close to mi. S. of Ellenor Bay. The exclusion was a pine forest N of the Bay + separated from Ellenor Bay by a peaved road + another stretch of forest. Joe weighed the skinned flock, & I took measurements on the picked carcasses. I measured both HF & LF (was as my medical checkup took an x-ray for damage or missing toes), & all were found to be intact. ♀ 10 Nov. '89 Pan M6 103-20-12.5-7 10.74 g 4 ends, x 11 mm.
