The North Sector has loblolly pine invading the Panicum
(Pinus taeda) as do the other 2 sectors (S & W), in this
sector there is more Eriocanthus, & a Polygonum was
noted in the Panicum. The trend of Andropogon virginicus
as an opponent to water is well developed.
Along the dower line dike, Rubus I canum Induratus!
But also near Salix sp., Acer rubrum, & a few
individuals of Magnolia virginiana (sweet bay). Ferns are more prevalent along the sides of the dike where open water is more demanded. On top of the dike there is a large variety of weeds growing in patches. On the far end of the dike we found Corydalis (Fumariaceae) - w/ yellow snap dragon-like flowers, & the South sector we found Eriocanthus to be less common, & also noted Eupatorium, Acer, &
Liquidambar.
