Lodrick 1990 Jan. 26 cont. N, E, + S sections. Four + fip (figs. + blocks) were seen in the 5 section where they had moved up the vegetation for 25-30 ft. with smooth bottom lines N + O. They seem to be after a large moth about 1 1/2 in. diameter. At least 5 traps were loaded by figs, 3 of which did not be weighed. No larvae seen. A few frog calling. Yes during early and two new traps for receivers next to the old traps. These traps were of the single door design + were baited with cutfood. The one on the dike had a large amount of pressure, + the one along the drift from did an adult striped skunk. The skunk was released at the 'crew disrupted (WZL 4003). Took 2 photos & grid. Jan. 17 Ran trap with Jerry + Louise. Re-baited trap w/ skunk + removing Her-e-e-lady on dike with cutfood. Weather: warm + [illegible] clear. Jan. 18 (warm like yesterday). Warm + overcast. Probably the same skunk was in the drift from trap & released. We set another trap on the dike not too far from A-11. Other traps were set further from the dike. Both were baited with sardines. The remains of 3 Redwing found (28, 17) in 3 different locations; only feathers were left. Ran trap line. Jan. 19 Warm + fairly overcast. Removed 2 old Her-e-lady, leaving 2 new traps charged open. Ran trap & dike then weighed.
