LIDICKEN 1989 SRS cont. all the bait was gone. There of Jenny's traps in L: line of 40 and the wires pulled out by the big cottontail (raccoons?). Moved all 40 traps on the farm line dikes have retried with sunflower seeds, and the rest were resited with dry oatmeal. (sunflower seeds) Nov. 21 4:30-5:30 p.m. L & J re-baited + put all 100 traps at Ellenton Bay (3-4-12) site. Nov. 22, 23, 24 Ren trapline in Am w/ L & Jerry Woff. During night of 22nd - hard rain; during night of 23rd - hard frost. Picked up all traps on 24th and two lg. Have a-loats toiled w/ cat food for raccoon. Five dead Blarings in traps on dikes across Bay on 23rd (WZL # 3982-3986), + 2 mor - 24th (WZL 3987,89). Dec. 5-7 Set traps on grid at Ellenton Bay + ran them on morning of 6+7th. Dec. 27-30 Set grid traps from then 28,29, 30th. Bay froze on first 3 days but not yet warm on 30th.
