LIDICKER 1989 SRS-cont. Nov. 12 08:05 - 11:45 Chkd trap & left them out. Craft. 11, Stud G: Peromyscus folionotus - 2 jr. Q adults (migrat., active) Neostoma floridanum - 1 ad i wnderer. (Q) Field 3-4-12: Sigmodon hispidus - 1 ad, ? (edge of prairie thickets) All 9 catch released without marking. Nov. 13 08:15 - 12:00 Picked up all traps & all animals caught were released without marking Craft. 11, Stud G: Peromyscus folionotus - 2 ad Q + 1 ad ? from yesterday's nestland. Field 3-4-12: Peromyscus folionotus - 1 ad. ? (jungle.) & 1 adult Drove to site previously checked out on 19 November & set 40 traps out. This is Conformation 80, stud 27. It's a 11 acre clear cut, and a 1988 a on Rd. B-6, just SE of where it crosses the RR (B-6 = Patterson Mill Rd.). This is in Barwell Co., at 9.5 mi. W, 3.5 mi. S Barwell. The site has 4 winderes it is thickly covered with Rhubarb & other heavy vegetation. The edge of the field closest to the RR is relatively dry & sandy, this includes the first winder. There is also a small but area between winderes 2 & 3 that we discovered later traps were all out. We set a transect across the east.
