LIDICKER 1986 + 1987 Sejden trip cont. Locations for digging: boulder field + vic. E. of Station = 1.3 km. NE Sejden Crack Fill Sdx., 6340 ft., Nevada Co. sandy desert area = 1.6 mi. N, 0.7 mi. E Chl/cast, 5200 ft., Plumas Co. desert cangr/ld = 1.6 mi. N, 1.4 mi. E Chl/cast, 5400 ft. Yucatan Trip, Mexico 26 June - 1 July, 1987 first meeting of ASM & la Asociacion Mexicana de Mastozoologia in Cancun, Quintana Roo. Took all day trip to Chichen-Itza on 27 June + half day to Tulum on 30 June. Had binoculars but no bird field guide, so following identifications were not after return, from memory + some written notes. resident Cormorant - probably Olivaceus - 1+ magnificent Frigatebird - 2 resident white egret - probably C. albus - 3+ resident double-billed duck - 1 (Chichen-Itza) Turkey Vulture Black Vulture Barnet Forest Falcon? - in captivity in Valladolid large tern (dk b:ll) - probably Sandwich Tern - 1 Vanx's (yucatan) Swift - Chichen-Itza Green Kingfisher - 1 (Xella) Blue-crowned Motmot - 10+ + 1 indiv of possibly smaller species' (Chichen-Itza)
