Looked particularly for good sites for class to observe Sci.), ground squirrels. Explored park at Curry Rd. entrance; the Welch Creek Rd. was closed. Lots of ground squirrel burrows in grasslands around just headquarters & parking lots, but only a few squirrels seen obviously because there were alot of people (4 loops) around as it was a last Sunday.
