Very cool in to look at one of his study sites along Goldstream (NW, I think). This is an area where artists live in older + older with almost no space. Then we went to Dela Frist's large study grid a few miles further. Here there is a beautiful trick forest with some space extending into a black spruce stand. We saw 1 snowshoe hare in the mixed forest. Ground cover dominated by Equisetum hyemale + moss. Saw Green-winged Tanager (5), Solitary Sandpiper, Robin, & a Raven on the way back.
Went to the nearest farm on Yankovitch Rd. and then to Barry Swartz's house. He showed us his Corunix farm, his peregrine falcons (3 ad. + 2 chicks that we did not see), several Gyrfalcons & a Siskin. Then we met Maurice & watched the Golden Days Parade along 2-street. About 1400 we had a pizza for lunch. About 1700 Barry & Peggy Swartz came over to Wolf's for dinner. Then we went to Alaska Land - Palace Saloon, & to play on the paddle boat, & then to the Flame Saloon & home about 0200.
