March 25 Up at 0720 & it was not raining. Very cold - hardly above freezing or below. Grass in meadows was still a bit frozen. Had breakfast at the tent to get on track, while we eventually found out were at 4 mi. S Salmon. Catch: Micrurus tomzandii - 6 R. Hirtatentus ingolati - 2 Paronyxus truei - 1 Some of my traps had rainlets running through them. We processed the morning's catch on the spot as 1 Micrurus was working & another died.
