Oct. 2 cont.
until ~11:00. Second no word for lunch in the
cafeteria in the B-bldg blding (including Eric
Framstad & 2 students -- one working on Lammers
using fist data, & one working on Seismos vulgaris
using telemetry). After lunch I went to my room
to write a letter to Poled (K. A.) & the next to
union Archabon & bought 2 records of Norwegian
dances (total kr 105). At ~[illegible] went back to
N:1's Pic + we continued with our modeling
project. At about 1830 we drove to center of town
+ had dinner in the Grand Cafe (in the Grand Hotel).
This restaurant was a center of bohemian culture at
the end of the 19th century. Nils dropped me off back
at the University ~22:30.
Oct. 3
Got + union for breakfast at ~08:45. Met
N:1's Chr. about 09:30. We left for shopping in Sentrum
of Oslo. Shopped until 13:00. Lots of crowds in downtown
area with folks for various political causes, street musicians,
religious groups, etc. Our group on lower level + Western
Drive was handing out leaflets, & their sole mission was
apparently to
