LIDICKER 1981 Sept. 30 cont. eating Spanish restaurant (EspaƱol con Miki). It cost my soul kr 85. (exchange rate is ~$ 5.50 kr. to the $.) Rain in afternoon & evening. After dinner we walked around the downtown area (Santrino) for awhile. Then I took the subway - train back to the University (kr. 6) Oct. 1 Nils joined me for breakfast at the student union. It is hard to believe there are 20,000 students at the Univ. since it seems very quiet & uncrowded. We worked most of the day discussing the "multi-factorial" model I prop. regulation and trying to model the microtubular californians population cycle. At about 13:00 we drove to the Edward Munch Museum for lunch in this restaurant & tour of the museum's Munch paintings. It was very worthwhile. Rained most of day, sometimes hard. Got back to the desk at 15:00. Continued discussion of modeling until 17:15. Then I went to my room to work on tomorrow's seminar. At 18:15 Nils & Lefi & took the bus to L's apartment for dinner. Pigeon Byorg cooked a great meal. At 22:30 I took the bus (no. 20) back to the University. Oct. 2 Went to student union for breakfast at ~ 08:10. Nils joined me there.
