LIDICKEN 1981 Sept. 24 coo zyfosticus - 2 ; A. cyprius - 1 ; Sovar arawus - 1. Back to the hostel & talked with Dr. Tadeusz Pius that 1 E E III. Krystyna helped me to arrange agar, jars + chemicals for processing micrds on the 26th (set). They have no natural gas & all their hot water tanks have simply run out as it is not possible to find a few pipettes for demonstrating the eye bleeding technique. They do claim to have worked skillfully now, however, we will see. At 14:00 we had lunch at the hostel, & on 3 we left to drive to Warszawa Centrale to catch by some minute chance my camera may have been thrown in to lost & found - no luck. From there I walked back to the Hotel, arriving about 16:15. At 18:30 I met Anna Dobrowolska who had invited me to the opera. We walked to the open train (~26 km.). The performance started at 19:00. It was "Halta" by Stanislaw Moniuszka (1819-1872). This is a Polish version of a traditional love story & i.e.: a national Opera. Three folk dances were featured (polonaise, mazurka, & a mountain dance unlike anything I had seen before). We had a snack at the H. Forum afterwards. Sept. 25 Took bus to Andrzejanowski's, arriving 07:58. We went to Lwiza to pick up the 30 trips there. Josef J Instyfat joined us with trip loops. So Andrzejanowski's td cd Leszek Nabrzysko all getting up the trips.
