Found out that Wtadek was ~ Z$ 12,000/ mo. & Krystyna has kids ~ $500. Also I k of copper costs $8 at Pewex or ~ Z$ 700 but some food exists at Pewex. Because of a election last year the Director of the Inst. of Environmental Biology is Adam Tomnicki (Assoc.):: Bogustaw Bojak) & the head of the Dept. of Animal Ecology is Andrzej Gorecki. Wtadek was just from the latter position when Dept. heads lost the power to give technicians. Sept. 19 At 0900 met Adam Tomnicki at his office in the institute. We talked until 1210. Then I started to work on the Aortamus from Polana ChochoĊ‚owska. One of we deck a fetus again: --107-26.5-18.5; hearts, faint placental sens ; ovaries immature. The other 4 were in excellent condition. I made flesh skins of them. Wtadek also came in & I talked to him briefly. About 1415 Adam & I went off in his Fiat Polski to look for lunch.
