LIDKER 1981 Sept 11 cont. reconstructing - population of the castle role ("horrible") was at 11:00 and discussion went to about 12:30. Then had discussions with Jan & Barbara Piznowski that their visit resumed until 13:40. Worked (with tea & discussion) w/ Krystyna's Nica until 15:05. Had interesting political discussion with Regina R. & Leszek N. Took Andrysfurt bus back to Warszawa Centralna & walked to hotel cannot find N took taxi to hotel with me). Took Lodz work Cepelia store near the hotel (on Marszalkowska) & then had dinner in the hotel dining room. At 19:00 met R. Rogalska & we walked to National Philharmonic concert (Filharmonia Narodowa) which started at 19:30. The program was Symphony II by Gustav Mahler and was excellent. They also had a large chorus of 2 great soloists (singers). Did some work. Sept 12 After breakfast organized my slides on New Guinea, & started to organize my luggage so I can leave 1 day in Warszawa. At 11:35 left on bus (A) for Andryjowski's: (10 Stara Plac, no.7). Arrived at 12:30 because I went past my stop by one & ended up at a giant "flower market" with hundreds of cars parked & big crowds. We left almost immediately for Biatostoke Dworska (White Meadow Estates) which is the site NW of Warszawa where a new town is planned, for
