They have owned the house for several years but renovation has been very slow because of difficulties in getting supplies. The house has a nice garden. While Mrs Pienowski worked in the garden, Jan & I walked into and along the edge of the forest. Birds seen on our long walk t around Li's house: Goose - 1+ Mallard - 2+ Phylloscopus sp. - 15+ a few seemed to have dark legs = Chiffchaff; else 1 or 2 were very grey & without noticeable eye stripe - probably young.
