LIDICKER 1981 Sgs.6 cont. Binoculars & then on to Jan's flat. He has a Yugoslavian-made car. The most common driven car is the Polish Fiat. Then we drove to edge of Kampinos forest where Pienowski's have bought an old (1920's) house and are fixing it up. They expect to move into it perhaps after the winter. They have owned the house for several years but renovation has been very slow because of difficulties in getting supplies. The house has a nice garden. While Mrs Pienowski worked in the garden, Jan & I walked into and along the edge of the forest. Birds seen on our long walk t around Li's house: Goose - 1+ Mallard - 2+ Phylloscopus sp. - 15+ a few seemed to have dark legs = Chiffchaff; else 1 or 2 were very grey & without noticeable eye stripe - probably young. Hooded Crow Rook Jackdaw Magpie Jay Bluethroat - 15+ Crested Tit - 1 Willow Tit - 1 (heard only) (
