Bus to 34th St. terminal & taxi to Gretchen's apartment. Sept 1 - Taxi to airline terminal on 1st Ave. & 37th St. & limousine to Kennedy airport. Left at 19:51 (1 hr. & 6 min. late) on Lufthansa flight for Frankfurt. Sept 2 - 02:00 (EST), awoke (snoozed). Arrived at ~ 09:35 local time. This is 6 hr time change from NY + 9 hrs. from S.F. Left on Lufthansa flight to Warsaw at 10:52. Cold lunch in flight; arrived at 12:40. Met by K. Andrzejewska who drove me to Hotel Forum when PAN had booked reservation for me.
