LIDICER 1978 Hastings Natural History Reservation, Monterey Co., Calif. 10-12 Nov. - Mammalogy class field trip with Jim Betton & family. TA = John Hafner. 14 students Ground hard & dry. Class caught total of 3 raccoons: "C. F.: All were adults. Stock food was completely dry so rats not eat. Saw min, skunt, & leil but no signe inssion to janeth & saw the n d in. 17-19 Nov. - Mammalogy class field trip with 2nd lady (13 students) 1 class; There were raccoons we then: 2 cd. $ + 1 ad &. 1 F had 6 large raters o the other led given liveth shot 2 days previously, but old regime plug, it was not locked. Perhaps there is insufficient inssion to support lethrin. Did rain Sun evening after returning to the Bay Area. B.77 & Ginger Francis came to visit us Sat evening. Briones Reservoir, Contra Costa Co., Calif. Dec. 29, 30 Stopped to view reservoir from several places along Ligging on my way back & forth from Russell Reservation. Cost - 40+ Pied M. Grebe - 20+ Shoveler - 4 Eared Grebe - 1+ Baldhead - 8+ Red-thr. Loon - 1? Canada Goose - 65+ Common (D. cv. ?) - 25+ Arw. Merganser - 10+ Bufflehead - 2+ Golden-eye - 1 Ruddy Duck - 25+ Gadwall - 10+
