LIDICKER 1978 Jackson Lake Lodge, Wyoming & INEL, Idaho 10-15 Sept. Sept. 10 - Flew to Jackson, Wyo., via Salt Lake City to attend review of Environmental Program of Idaho National Engineering Lab (D.O.E.) as member of 5-man review team. Invited by Doyle Markham who is in charge of group. Took bus from airlift to Jackson Lake Lodge & Teton Mt. Natl. Park. Sept. 11-12 - Seminar - Hand 35 pages. Rain + snow most of time. Saw motors briefly mid-afternoon 11th. For about 1 hr Lo. & late afternoon looked hard on 11th - sun & snow. Left ~ 1600 on 12th for Idaho Falls. Dinner w/ Markham & Dick Hanson (CSU). Sound mail in Sept. 13-14. Site visit at INEL talking to I got S.A. Jackson. investigators. Other members of review team were: Tom Hakanson - Los Alamos Burt Cushing - Batelle, Richland, Wash. Ted Weaver - Mont. St. U., Bozeman Clayton Wicks - BYU, Provo Stayed at Westlock Motel - Idaho Falls. Carl, Mary Ann, & Jan came Sept. 15 - Left 0700 for flight back to San Francisco via SLC. Got to MVZ about 1000. Birds noted: Horned Grebe - 4 (INEL) Trumpeter Swan - 5 (1 dr., 2 ad., 2 jrs., 1 col + egg.) on small lake just N of Jackson Lake Lodge mallard - 10+ (JLL) Gosnell - 15+ (. . )
