LIDICKER 1978 July 8 cont. Mum & the boy left at morning in the tobacco station. We left them there and catching # more to the long train including 4 placed on top of the hay (along the edges), for a total of 13 - in the barn. Then we were returned to the pensione & I skimmed out the 2 guestrooms while Naomi locked. We left at 11:45 & headed for Milano. The address of the Pensione we stayed at is: From: Fallo-Battilana, Pensione Apollonia, 7749 Li Curt (Tel. 082-51503) It took us about 3 1/2 hrs. to get to the Milano airport (Linate), stopping off for a brief picnic lunch w/ of Sondrio. This gave us only a little over 1 hr. to our flight time of 17:50 (16:50 Swiss time). Dick then drove back to our trip house in Poschiavo for 1 more night of staying. In London we were met by our friend Brian Harbert & sons Paul & Alan. They drove us to their home - N. B. mckley where we spent the night. July 9 Harberts drove us back to the train when we arrived 13:00 for a flight at 4:40 to Chicago. Flight time was ~ 9 hrs. We were met by Naomi's brother Kirkman who drove us to M/L (Landen) where we had left Jeff & Ken with our friend the D.W. Palmers. July 10 - Relaxed in M/L (Landen) July 11 - With family flew home together arriving home ~ 15:00 (after a 2 1/2 hr. delay - flight in M/L (Landen)).
