LIDICKER 1978 July 7 cont. Well at 1 p.m. we were in the bunker. Then we returned to the Poschiavo to work on our catch. About noon the man who ran the grocery offered us D:ck & Naomi. I picked up our 9 traps then; catch - 1 Ajatamurus (infiltrations?) in a trap trap. Worked on mine until lunch at 0:00 or afterwards for another hour. I skinned 6 of our catch of 8 and we got kisses & complete skeletons from all. Then we went into Poschiavo to the bank & bought some glass-headed jars for preserving the mouse skins. Want to shed & sew up & after checking old exits, we went through the pile (I long in the wild contained food-looking brown holes - into this). We therefore picked up the 5 live traps there. Then we went down the valley to see a chick traps. At the Brasio key line, our 4 traps produced 2 live Mice, so we saw a total of 7 live birds then. Then we retrieved our 2 live traps from a migratory & in the process we took to a nearby deposit wild contained fields of old tobacco leaves & only two birds. We got 10 live traps then. At Campacologno we set 15 mice D: in a grassy field in wild orchid we had seen a few mouse- nized holes (no steps!). We also looked over several other fields which did not look as promising. In Campascio we found a large chicken farm where we got permission to set 6 St. traps and. Then we returned to Zalko to check our 10 traps in the day light. To our surprise we had 4 more live birds . We reset the ,0 traps. Then we set 9 mice D: in a storage shed next to the barn which
