LIDICKER 1978 July 5 cont. Caron - 5 4 tours - 38 + 28 = 6 x 6 Went out to Lou dinner at Altavilla Hotel: Paschiaro. Saw Red-tailed Shrike at [illegible] Brusia. July 6 600 up 0730. Pouring rain until about 1215. Choked 5 trips in vicinity of hotel after breakfast - no zebra. The the "grandfather" drove us up the mountain to Caron to pick up our traps there. We took along an 85 yrs. old man who lived i Canche can 40 yrs. & spoke some English. Traps produced nothing. The "grandfather" took us to a grainery just behind the hotel & across the river. The man then let us out traps inside and a wood pile with 20 quite a few more things around it. We sat 5 live & 4 trap traps. Then we went to Brusia, caught 1 M. joshuarivinus (will # 3604) in a mus. sp. & large barn. Nothing was caught - the centre across the street or i th 2 traps set by a neighbor. These last 2 were nearly out on top of a car so I moved them - rather close to his driveway. By then traps were left. At Zelande we caught nothing. One live trap & 1 snap from the brown pile was moved to the key loft when second traps had been sprung. At
