LIDICKEN 1978 Jug 2 cont. ~ 2200 to take overnight train to Vienna. Met Jark Waldman + Uri Riddler in old town square. At 1454 left on train for Vienna. Travelled w/ Wm Hojag - Forrest + Gordon + Carol Kirtland (the latter had been on the High Tatra tow). Arr. = Wien 2100 when Dick Sey met us with his rented car & he drove to Stadion Hotel. Jug 3 Walked around Vienna for couple h hours, then checked into hotel & drove to Laxenbury where he visited Roy Kilbourn (wife Ulrike, son Stephen) at 1 USSA. After lunch w/ Roy, the 3 of us left to drive to Switzerland. From Laxenbury went to Baden + Alland to the autobahn west. At Salzburg we met W. Barney. Just S. J. Rosenheim, found 5 again in Austria. Started to rain at about Salzberg & continued well into Austria. Stayed for night in village of Kematen, just w. of Innsbruck (Gästhaus Alterwirt). Set 18 small St. live traps (12 = set by the Gästhaus + 6 = the Gästhaus cellar (winter ham & bacon stored there). Traps loaded with rolled oats + bits of bacon.
