LIDICKER 1978 European Trip June 12 - July 11 June 12 - Left for Atlanta, Georgia to attend ASM meetings in Athens, Ga. Went with Peggye Pearson, Ed Stone, Transfer of Soc. met us at the airport & drove us to Athens in Leo's rented car. June 13-17 ASM meetings. On 17th, Dave Krohn drove me to Atlanta about 1645. Got plane at 1900 for NYC. June 18-19 Visited relatives in N.Y. On 19th, schedule to leave for Frankfurt at 1945. Plane was delayed June 20 later until 2335. This got me into Frankfurt 4 hrs. later so I missed my connecting flight to Prague. As it turned out, the connecting flight was cancelled anyway because the President of Libya was visiting Czechoslovakia & so the Prague airport was closed all morning. Thus Naomi was still in Prague Frankfurt when I arrived & we left together on a Czech Airlines flight ~ 1600. We finally checked into the International Hotel in Brno ~ 2030, too late to attend the opening ceremonies of the II International Theological Congress. June 24-27 ITC Congress: Brno. June 28 Left on Post-congress tour of S. Bohemia. Highlights: Telc castle, Jindrichuv Hradec, Trebic (especially the library), Ceska Budejovice cafeteria snack). Zvikov Hotel in Zvikovske Podhradi (just S & conference of Otava & Vltava rivers). June 29 - Went S to E to Soběslav & thia
