Does close 2.00 to 2.10. Lastly, in which 12 days at 27.9 x... I was doing the camp now. Camp is now no. ex - suppos[illegible] comment his set like N & S [illegible] grid.
On 22 Mx for W. comment lines has worked.
Weather - sunny + relatively warm with SE to SW wind. Watched sun go down ~ 2300, it was a bit dark to distinguish to Handrail.
May 22 - It doesn't really get dark before sunset + sunrise about 0300, so one can walk a mile or two without artificial lights. Started out for dolphins 0650. Picked up all traps. Got back to camp for breakfast 0900. Grand frogs again this morning but had a depth as yesterday. The light was definitely worse, + there is also more mosquitoes out today. There were almost as many as I felt, but they in the large, slow-moving kind which are not very bothersome. Packed my camp, loaded the trailer down to the foot of the camp road, + then went to first gear end of the grid area where we dug up a Mx mound which was built among the roots [illegible] chunk of hillside. It contained a large nest, dry but not obviously newly built at a large (1/4 buried) midden cluster.
The midden contained about 3 points I used a soggy Equisetum rhizomes which was apparently all that remained of winter stems. Both mud + midden were excavated over roots + buried small logs, so were well-protected. Then we dug up a few additional superficial mound segments in the first day
